Compliant with current OSHA regulations and designed in accordance with specifications set forth by the National Fire Protection Association, the Self Latch Standard 2 Door 30 Gallon Flammable Cabinets allow flammable liquids to be placed near work areas in a safe, organized manner and is Factory Mutual Approved (FM). The flammable locker allows for storage of up to six 5 gallon cans of fluid and is engineered for industrial usage and provides added security for residential or home based businesses. The Self-Latch Standard 2 Door 30 Gallon Flammable Cabinet is available in standard yellow with additional color options available.
Construction Details
Compliant with current OSHA regulations the safety storage cabinet features double wall construction with a 1 ˝” air space and 3-point self latching (non-spark) doors with flush mount locking handle. The non sparking doors adhere to the unit on a continuous piano hinge allowing for 180 degree opening capability. Interior galvanized steel shelving will accommodate up to 500 lbs. per shelf and feature a leak proof sill 2” deep. Unit rests on adjustable zinc plated leveling legs with optional factory installed caster assembly available. Note-the caster assembly consists of 2 rigid and 2 swivel casters and will add 4” to overall height of cabinet. Unit comes complete with two 2” vents with flash arrestors, OSHA compliant static grounding bolt and large warning label.
Finishing Details
Exterior and interior finish consists of an aliphatic polyurethane finish that withstands salt spray, chemical rub and fading due to UV exposure. The 2-part urethane finish is more durable when moving items in and out of the cabinet and resists peeling and chipping. Unless specified, the cabinets will ship in the designated standard color of yellow. Additional available colors: blue, grey, white, green, red, beige and medium green.
